A personal anime player for your PC, phone and TV

KwanimeGo is an app for Windows, Android and Android TV. It shows anime catalogs and episodes from public anime websites, plays them in a built-in player, and remembers your list, history and where you stopped — optionally on all your devices through your own Google Drive.

KwanimeGo is private software made by its developer for personal use. It is not published, sold or distributed, and is used only by the developer and people he personally invites. There are no downloads. This site only explains how the app handles data.

Your progress is saved every few seconds, so you can stop on the TV and continue on the phone from the same moment.

All voice-overs in one list

Episodes and voice-over options from several anime websites are combined into one list, with backup players if one does not respond.

Sync through your own Drive

Optional: the list and progress are synced between your devices through a hidden app folder in your Google Drive.

No servers of ours

There is no KwanimeGo account and no KwanimeGo cloud. The app talks directly to the websites and, if you connect it, to Google Drive.

How KwanimeGo uses your Google data

Connecting Google Drive is optional; the app works fully without it.
KwanimeGo asks for https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata to store and read its own sync files — your anime list, ratings, watch history, playback progress and app settings — in a hidden app folder of your Google Drive. It cannot see or change any other files in your Drive. It also uses openid and email to show which Google account is connected.
The same data is kept on your devices so the app works offline. Sign-in tokens are kept in the system's protected storage.
Your data is never sent to the developer or to any third party, never sold, and never used for advertising or to train AI models.
You can disconnect Google Drive in the app at any time, delete the hidden app data in Google Drive settings, and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
